Have up for bid a beautiful 84 Honda Goldwing Aspencade. The pictures don't do this bike justice.Looks new and rides like new.If you are local come see it for yourself and ride it. Bike is well maintained and only has 63k miles. Runs great. Bike is smooth and tight with good rubber. Brakes very good. EVERYTHING works. Has been a garage queen when not on the open highway. This is an Aspencade 1200A which was top of the line for that year. Paint is blue almost flawless (changes shades as light hits) and silver. Has red pinstriping. ALL chrome bright and shiny and there is plenty of it. Bike has never been down. No dents and no scratches. Tires are very good. EVERYTHING WORKS All lights works as they should Blue neon running lights. Lights up like a christmas tree. CB Radio Intercom Am/Fm Cassette Small mp3 player Digital trip planner All digital readout, speedometer, tach Passenger Armrests Foldable drivers backrest Bottle holders Comes with a nice customized bike cover TWO FREE HELMETS w/ intercom hookups Owners manuals I have a low reserve. This bike will give you years of service if you keep it as well maintained as it has been. I am selling as is where is. You must pickup within one month. I will help you or your transporter load this bike. 250.00 paypal at end of auction and the remainder when you pick it up...CASH. No checks, no wire transfers, no scams(these auctions are expensive). I RESERVE THE RIGHT to end this auction at anytime up to the point that it hits my reserve price. I have it for sale/trade locally.BUT when it hits reserve it is going to be sold on ebay. On Apr-12-11 at 14:51:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a couple of questions I will address. There is NO trailer. The bike is equipped with a ball and professionally wired hookups trailers can be had here on ebay or around your community. Yes, the bike IS highway ready. Unlike others I have seen on here that need brakes fixed, wiring issues, etc. this one is ready for the open highway. This bike has been well maintained and not stuck out in the weather with a tarp over it (or worse). I am even throwing in a couple of helmets. Yes you can ride a greyhound in and ride it home.I would bring heavy clothes . One day its 90 here and the next 40. Those things at the bottom of the fairing are deerwhistles. They tell bambi that he is about to get an 800 pound missle up her rear if she doesn't evacuate the area. Yes the air works. Everything on the bike works and works well. Probably been better taken care of than a lot of 2000 models. On Apr-14-11 at 18:45:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of good questions so let me address a few. I traded a 65 Thunderbird that was worth quiet a bit more than the bike. The bike looked so good and rode so good that I figured I would have a blast riding it and you can't put a dollar amount on that. The guy I got it off said it has been taken very good care of maintenance wise and I took him on his word.No he didn't give me any records. After riding the bike a few miles and throwing up for ten minutes I decided the bike was not for me(vertigo...happens after having strokes). That brings us to where we are now, me selling the bike before my intestines short out the wiring(Yes i did clean all vomit off it). Now some of the questions and what I know. Q. Was the stator changed? A. Don't have a clue. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Q. When were the timing belts changed? A. Again, don't have a clue. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Q. How much tread is left on tires A. Looks like around 75%. might be more might be less @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ What size is trailer ball? A. 2" @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Q. What size are the helmets A. One is LARGE and one is SMALL @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Q.Where is the closest Greyhound terminal? A. That would be London, Ky. That is about 30 miles from Williamsburg,Ky where the bike is. You are going to have to get a taxi ride(you might want to google to see if they have taxis in London) to get to me. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ ONE MORE TIME ON THIS WARRANTY THING...THERE IS NONE. THE BIKE IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME AND RIDE THE BIKE AND GANDER AT IT BEFORE AUCTION ENDS. YOU ARE NOT BIDDING TO TEST DRIVE. YOU ARE ENTERING A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT WHEN YOU BID. On Apr-15-11 at 11:36:53 PDT, seller added the following information: On the greyhound bus thing above. If you can get the greyhound bus driver to drop you off in Williamsburg(right off I-75 and on the Ternnessee and Ky border) at the wal mart , I will come down and get you. Usually if you slip them a 20 dollar bill they are more than obliged to help you out( I Did this on a greydog up in Albany,NY and t he bus driver took me ten miles out of the way...He had me up front with him giving him directions and you could tell the passengers in the back were a wee bit nervous, probably thinking a hick was hijacking the bus))On Apr-17-11 at 08:19:04 PDT, seller added the following information: couple of things so that you can make an informed decision. I hate surprises and I have been surprised more than once buying things sight unseen. So, I try very hard not to do that to anyone. I try and give the best description I can . A couple of things I noticed this morning when I went to start it. I am trying to use up all the old gas in it so I can put fresh gas in it for the new owner. When I started it I choked it and it did emitt some pale black smoke. I had never noticed it but it was very cold this morning and that is probably common. After it warmed up a bit, said pale black smoke went away.Purrs like a kitten when warmed up. Probably the older gas burning through. Just thought I would pass that on. Right behind the trailer ball, where the ball goes down into the platform there is about 3" of chrome lift. Probably where the female part of a trailer might have rubbed the ball a bit. Guy requested a picture of the right front fender(I will get that to you later this afternoon). There is a crease there BUT it is on both sides and that is a factory installed crease. Flares out slightly so that mud and debris won't gum up the tires I figure. There are no dents on the bike as far as my eyeballs can tell and several people have came up and looked at it and said the same. Everybody who has looked at it has said I accuratley described it and was amazed at the condition and said they would bid on it.IF you are serious about bidding and want more detailed pictures don't hesitate to write me. I am not good with a camera but my wife is and I will get her to shoot you some. If you want to come up here and take a gander on this beautiful sunday I will give you and your significant other a cold pepsi, and you all can take it for a scenic cruise down to beautiful downtown Jellico,Tn(7 miles away). If you like it you will have to bid on it like I have told everyone else. I also have a 76(last year of the stingray) corvette w/53k miles I am going to sell pretty reasonable, a 72 240z w/109K miles which is my driver that i may let go for a 60,s 70,s or 80's VW VAN or Campmobile. I am 60 miles North of Knoxville and 3 miles off I-75
