This is a rare find Folks! 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit *Gasoline* Started and Ran 2 weeks ago with no issues. This truck come equip with a SUNROOF! Matching topper included but missing the back hatch. The body can use a little work but nothing major, engine runs great! The topper does need a little sanding but looks great, see pictures for details. Gas powered engine! You don't find many like this anymore! The body is in Good condition with some scratches and a dent/scratch on the drivers side but easily fixable (See photos). It Does have light rust on a few sides. The front hood was replaced, it is a different color (light silver blue.) The hood is open on the pictures, it shuts and opens perfectly. 127,999 original miles on it. This Baby can get up to 45MPG. Feel free to email me for more info! Thanks for looking! On Apr-13-11 at 11:30:28 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTN: Please note that some recent discovers were made today when we moved the trucks today 4/13/2011. We discovered that there is a hole in the drivers side floor board, (1' x 6") the carpet was covering the spot so unfortunately we did not notice it BUT is easily reparable!!! Since the truck has been sitting for about a year the breaks are a little soft but tires are in good condition and road worthy. The Reserve has been lowered and as well as the buy it now price due to these discoveries. Thank you for looking.
