Need to find a good home for my little baby. She’s a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible with the 4 barrel carb 352 V8 engine option. I’ve had her for a couple of years and have poured a lot of love, and a lot more money, into her. Everything has been returned to her original appearance. Mechanically, I have completely replaced the entire braking system (master cylinder, lines, hoses, shoes, drums and cylinders), installed a brand new exhaust system (from headers up front to new pipes all the way out of the back), transmission was re-built in 2009, new tires last fall with less than 250 miles on them, water pump, alternator and fuel sending unit, carb rebuild a few months ago and a complete tune-up on the engine. I have documentation available from Midas (brakes and exhaust), Firestone (carb rebuild and tires) and All-State Transmission Service for all of the “heavy” work. Cosmetically, she received a new paint job in 2009, the interior was completely redone last year (door panels, seats, carpet and mats), installed stereo w/cd player and new speakers both front and back. I have replaced the driver and passenger door and trunklid gaskets. The bumpers have been re-chromed perfectly. The side-view mirrors are new. The top was replaced last year along with a new boot cover. The convertible top mechanism works just fine. Average retail for this vehicle, according to NADA Guides (nadaguides.com), is $11,200.
