I've enjoyed this beauty for almost 6 years, and have kept it garaged since day one. Heads turning and compliments for the vehicle have been abundant. Specs: 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible V-8, 430 cid Automatic Power windows/doors/locks Air conditioning The bad: - The vehicle sometimes needs to be put in neutral in order to turn on OR in order to raise or drop the convertible top - NO worries, I've kept it this way by design (extra security measure since most don't know to put it in neutral in order to bypass this) - thru research I've found out that the Neutral Safety Switch may be the issue...and yes, I have a new switch for it (will be handed to its new owner - no extra charge) - Although the A/C works (nice and cold when I first bought it), it needs freon - The power windows and dashboard light need a little attention - When cold and in neutral (only), the engine sometimes makes a slight rattling noise. I've been told it may be the ignition switch needing to be replaced - but NO worries, this in no way hinders the vehicles ability to ride smoothly on both the street and highway - As with any used car, a new paint job would make the vehicle even more appealing As you can see, the above will only enhance the vehicles value. The Good: - Paper work: copies of registrations and receipts for maintenance done on the vehicle. Some of these items date as far back as 1992. When you peace them together it tells a brief history: California owner took it with him to Washington. The vehicle then made it's return to California a few years later with a new owner. And in 2005 I purchased it. - Although not on the vehicle, I have the original black California license plates (verified by prior owners registration and will be handed over to its new owner) - Various manuals (owners, maintenance, convertible top, heater/air conditioning, ect.) - When I purchased the vehicle it only had 120,588 miles (verified by the Purchase Contract - will be included), the vehicle currently has 122,017 miles (I've driven this vehicle less than 50 times in almost 6 yeas) - Brand new Kuhmo tires - The vehicles interior is above average in appearance - The vehicle runs smoothly on both street and highway Here's a link to a brief video of the vehicle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWVH0L_iZb0 Payment: - $500.00 due within 48 hours of auction close (Pay Pal). - Full payment due within 7 days of auction close; if you're paying with your personal check the title and vehicle will be handed over once the check (funds) clears, Cashier's check (s) will be verified prior to handing the title and vehicle over.
