THIS IS UNLIKE ANY DATSUN 300ZX YOU WILL EVER FIND FOR SALE! YOU CANNOT JUST LOOK IN THE LOCAL PAPER OR AUTOTRADER TO FIND A CAR LIKE THIS FOR MY RESERVE! I'M JUST SAYIN' For sale is my 1984 Datsun/Nissian 300ZX 2+2 coupe with T-bar roof in light metallic blue. My 300 ZX has 12,000 original miles and I am the third owner. Both the first two owners and I used the car as a weekend/pleasure car, so she has never been a daily driver. As you can tell from the pictures, she is not only in excellent condition, but incredible condition and is all original. I have added a copy of the used car inspection perfromed by the local Nissan dealer from when I purchased the ZX in 2007. History: The car was purchased new in Anaheim, California by an elderly man as a weekend/2nd car. The owner only drove the car 1,226 miles from 1984 –1994 as reported by an Inspection Station in Yorba, CA. Another inspection was completed in July of 99 and the mileage reported was 1,435. The car remained in Calif. From 5/23/84 until 9/18/2001 when the man I purchased the car from bought the 300ZX with 2,612 miles (call him Mr. B.). Mr. B decided to register the car in New Jersey in May of 2002 , due to multiple homes and he had est. a living trust. The car was titled to the trust, at this point the car was reported as miles not actual due to the age of the car in New Jersey. Mr. B fought this mistake before moving to AZ to be near family and the trust transferred the title to AZ. After research, AZ issued the title with true mileage reported, 10,113 miles. I purchased the car 11/2007 with 11,123 miles and brought it to SC. SC issued a title with true mileage. I am more than happy to email any serious buyers a copy of the current SC title or the AZ title; just let me know. The car is awesome, the condition is incredible. The first time I saw this 300ZX in Mr. B’s garage, I could not believe my eyes. I have always been a fan of the Z cars, from the 240s to the current cars. I had it taken to the local dealership; the service staff could not believe the car. Once on the lift, there is no sign of dirt or that the car has ever been driven in rain or bad weather. The dealership wanted to display the car on their showroom floor. I of course store her in my garage and she is not driven on a daily basis, only when it is sunny for a nice run. Let me just say, this 300 has all the features possible for 1984. The features on the car: leather, automatic transmission, digital package, voice warning (a nice lady tells you your lights are on, fuel is low, etc), everything is electric (windows, locks) T-bar roof with the covers, climate control and the original AM/FM cassette player. When the car sits for a long period of time, there appears to be a short in the radio. This improves when the car warms up. In addition to being all original, she was wearing her original tires up until last month. I purchased a new set with less than 25 miles on them. Also note that 1984 was a transition year for Datsun to Nissan. On the rear of the car, both names appear Datsun on the left of the rear hatch and Nissan on the right (passenger side). To my knowledge, this is the only year that Datsun products wore both. Issues: There is a minor scratch on the front plastic bumper cover on the driver’s side. I have included a picture. Thank you for looking. I am trying to find a new owner who will baby this car and continue to maintain her condition. Please call with questions…843-469-2026
