1 - Restoration has started as it can partially be seen by the pictures.Front brakes are new.Rear end has been checked and cleaned.Motor runs very well.Original starter pedal on the floor.This is a 3 speed at the column.It has all the glass. 2-Problems: Like almost any 56-59 ,it has problems on the cab corners.New parts cost 49 dollats from LMC parts.The bed has no floor .The stripes are good and can be recovered. 3-New parts- Gas Tank and strap set(around 230 dollars);exterior truck rubber kit (79.95dollars)grille assembly chrome (339 dollars);park light assembly (39,90) ;head lamp bezel set chrome(79,95);floor pans L and R(200 dollars);left step plate (70 dollars)In summary it goes with 1000 dollars new parts (In this case, transport and handling charges are free.) It will take a small investment to have this truck completely restored as no major aditional parts are requiredColectors know the real value of a restored big window. The metal is of exceptional category.The existing dents are easy to fix. No cancer metal!!!!!! Big windows in good shape are becoming rare!
