RE-LISTING BECAUSE BUYER NEVER PAID! HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR MADE THE DEPOSIT> This is one of Mercury's most desirable hot rod models. The car is clean and solid. It runs and drives well. I bought the car about a year ago and haven't had a chance to do much with it. I'm buying a house so its time for it to go.I put new tires and a battery in when I got it and it runs and drives well. It is straight and solid. The original color was Turquoise and white but it has been painted Burgundy and white. The interior was redone in a Burgundy velour. The motor is a 390 out of a 71 Ford and it runs strong and doesn't smoke. The transmission is an automatic and it feels and shifts tight. The car is a project but can be driven and enjoyed as is. This would be a great car for someone to build a classic Merc rod out of. Thanks for looking The floorboards are very solid with no rust. I did find a couple of little rust spots behind the rear wheels if you look from underneath. Can't see them from outside. Brakes are a little soft. May need bleeding or master cylinder.
