1971 Porsche 914 My loss is your gain. I bought this car 8 years ago at a auction in Auburn Indiana. I talked to the owner of the car before the auction, he said the total under carriage of the car had been replaced and it has all 911 suspension which you can see in the pictures by 5 hole compared to 4 hole lugs. He had the flares and paint job done professionally, for the sum of $8,000.00. I paid over $6,000.00 and have had alot of work done. Unfortunatlly on the drive home it was 1400 plus miles the transmission went out 285 miles from home. Got the car home pulled the motor and transmission and decided to build the motor to the horsepower I wanted. Purschased a rebuilt transmission on ebay for $865.00 with the oversized 911 hubs. Purchased 2.0 stainless steel exhaust and bursch tuned exhaust shown in picture. New clutch and pressure plate. I installed new clutch cable, throttle cable, rebuilt shifter with new bushings. Anything that went thru the tunnel was replaced. Installed new carpet. The vehicle has nice after market seats and a consoul that was purchased off of ebay. All parts in pictures go with the car plus extra 4 or 5 extra seats. There are two small rust spots that showed up years after purchase at the bottem of both front fenders see pictures (minor). The car from what you can see in the pictures is in very good shape. As far as the body work and paint in my opion was very good as you can see in the pictures. All the car needs is a person that is willing to put the drive train back together and have alot of fun. My loss your gain. Only serious bidders, any questions please email me.
