I bought this 1975 3/4 ton Camper Special in NM 6 years ago and drove it home to NH. I completely went trough it, brakes, cooling system (new radiator,pump,hoses, therm.), all 4 shocks, ignition system, factory rebuilt 4BBL carb, new windshield, fuel pump, alt, U joints, ect. Not all these things needed to be replaced but I did them anyway. Been most reliable truck I've owned. Engine is original 454 with 400 tranny. I put 4 new tires on 14k ago. Still pretty good. I bought this truck from a friend whose Dad was original owner. The Dad passed away and she didn't need it.I've enjoyed fixing it up and running it. The miles are original. The body still rock solid. I under coat it every Fall. The amp meter and windshield washer don't work and paint job is mediocre. The tail gate is not origial. It is rusty and different color but works. A good truck with lots of life left in it. I'm only selling cause I need something a little bigger and need something new to tinker on. E-mail me with any questions.
