Relisting. >_> The buyer has not contacted me and ignored all my attempts to contact him/her. It goes without saying but, please, bid only if you can pay for the car or can contact me ASAP that you cannot. I put up a Buy It Now price of 1,000, since I received several higher offers for that price, but I need this car gone...a week ago. I'm selling a 1990 300ZX NA 2-seater and I've been the owner for the almost 3 years. There is a large amount of new parts on the car, however, there is enough problems (and I lack any real time) that I have to let the car go. It has been sitting for about 7 months and no longer starts. I would part the car out but I have very little time. It was given a Rebuilt title (shown in the pictures below) in Alabama and title is shown in the pictures. It seems it was given the rebuilt title back in 92 and I'm too far removed from the owner (I'm the 6th) to know the nature of how it received the title. New Parts Real HID lights A 300ZX TT front bumper (the previous owner cracked the old one) New Front Splash Guard Ambient Sensor Temp (Refurbished) Alternator POP Air Filter New rotors (though, from sitting, they need to be replaced), brake pads, painted calipers Battery Strut Tower Bar Clutch with only 25k miles on it O2 sensor Z1 Gauge Rings Completely New Brake Master Cylinder Upper Radiator Pipe Problems - The power steering is completely deleted from the car (No line or PS belt) - The drive-side seat belt does not catch (as in it only has slack). - The rear hatch of the trunk has a dent in it from the previous owner (I was told to replace the hatch itself and never got around to it) - The starter; the car was beginning to have intermittent problems starting, then it became near-impossible to ever get it to fire up - Finally, the main reason I stopped driving the car. One of the cylinders suddenly became completely dead. It could be as simple as an injector, or something more serious as coil, but I never really had the funds/time to fix it. When the car would start up, it would idle erratically and often bog out. - The interior is great but the plastic piece covering the strut bar is falling apart. - The passenger window has developed the dreaded window sag (It never did when I was driving, it must have developed while the car has been sitting). It stays up on its own all the way, but is very easy to move around (both vertically and horizontally) and I imagine the power windows will not engage it anymore. The tires have a decent amount of tread left on them and the rims are aftermarket, though I don't know the maker (previous owner had bought them). To save on questions regarding parting out particular components of the car, I'm putting it up for an extremely low starting bid and expect it to sell with everything mentioned here. However, if it doesn't, I might entertain offers for particular parts and pull them for people *after the auction and the car doesn't sell.* For now, if people want to see proof of some of the work/pictures, here's the car and the process I went through fixing it initially. It's a forum you would have to sign up to, so if that's a bother then don't fret and wait until tomorrow morning. http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=134888 http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=137315 Ignore the stuff about the rebuild in the topics and consider the 222k mileage to be real mileage of the engine. The previous owner ended up being a lot less knowledgeable about the history of the car than I thought. http://www.300zxclub.com/member.php?u=83565 (this is my user ID, so you can see any topics/problems/issues I had with the car and how I resolved them) I work most of Sunday, but will be more available and will be able to quickly answer questions on Monday/Wednesday/Thursday for most of the afternoon and on. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me.
