Vehicle Detail
LOW RESERVE - I want to see someone get some use from this car, I had my fun with it. For parts or restoration Engine runs strong, starts on first crank,Transmission runs smooth and shifts through all gears.Includes: Auto trans w/ overdrive, Sunroof, intermitant wipers, electric windows (operate very slow), electric locks (need worked on ), tilt steering wheel, aluminum wheels, seats with speakers in headrest. What works: brakes, headlights lower and raise, wipers, transmission, engine, exhaust, catalytic, emissions. rear sub frame was replaced and I believe is in good shape still., Alternator , battery, all lights and horn. What does not work: No radio (was removed), parking brake (needs new cable). No AC (compressor was removed) Items needing work: Needs exhaust tips (for good looks), lots of rust in rear shock towers (may need a lot of restoration), front suspension very rusty also, Tires are in fair shape, but 1 has a bad cut in side (all hold air ), Interior well worn, seats need redone or replaced, headliner needs replaced. Front right air dam (underneath) cracked (needs repair). Right rear tail light cracked. I bought this car in 1994 , the speedometer was non-functional and was replaced with a used one , so I have only an estimate of actual "total" mileage (around 120,000). I drove this car daily to work from 1994-2008, when I started driving the Electric Fiero I built. It has only been driven around the block occasionally since then, but always starts on the first crank. I would recommend this as a parts car only, but it could be returned to service if you put some effort into it. The car can be started and taken for a test drive, But PLEASE do not plan on driving home after purchase. It should either be dollied or trailered home. Please do not bid unless serious, this car was sold 3 times at the start of the winter, two bidders failed to complete payment and were reported to Ebay, and one bidder came to get the car and did not take it due to the rust in the shock towers. I am being as honest as possible, please ask questions if not sure before bidding.
