1988 Chevrolet IROC-Z Camaro Convertible One of only 3761! Excellent, show quality condition For sale is a 1988 Chevrolet IROC-Z Camaro Convertible. This is an absolutely perfect car. This was treated as a collectors car and it shows. All the power options still work, the engine runs strong, car starts up every time, AC and heat work, etc. It has a new torch red paint job, a new custom black top and almost everything on it has been replaced and/or rebuilt. This is an Arizona car with no rust on the body at all. It has only been driven 3000 miles in the past 10 years! The chassis has 115,000 miles on it but the engine, drive train and suspension have less than 8000 miles. I looked for months to find an IROC in perfect condition, I finally found one, bought it, and I am now forced to sell due to circumstances out of my control. There is no reserve on this beautiful car. These cars are getting rarer and rarer to find, especially in this condition. This car is one of only 3761 made in 1988. - Car was originally a 5.0 engine, but was swapped to a 5.7 (350 cubic inch) 4 bolt engine, with 0.30” overbore -No body rust! - 10:1 compression - Crane camshaft and lifters - TPI fuel injection - 700R4 trans with shift kit - 3.73:1 posi rear end - Disc brakes on all four wheels - 3” exhaust - 8” x 16’ factory IROC wheels with Bridgestone performance tires with only 1000 miles on them - New suspension parts - New aluminum radiator - New alternator - New battery - New custom black convertible top with glass rear window - Power seats - Power windows -Power locks -Power mirrors - Air conditioning is converted to 134a, it was just recharged less than 50 miles ago and blows ice cold air - Upgraded stereo head unit - Interior fully redone -Oil Change was just done 10 miles ago There is only one minor problem that I am aware of with the car, there are a couple small cracks on the dash, but no major cracks. There is a dash mat on it, so the cracks are not even visible. Car is located in Tucson, Arizona. The vehicle is being re-listed due to a non paying bidder in the previous auction.
