This auction is for a 1967 Cadillac Deville 4Dr. 429ci. 340HP I have a 1967 Cadillac Deville for sale with a clear title. I believe it has 107,xxx miles on it. I got this from a friend at work about 3 weeks ago. It had been sitting in the garage of the house he just bought for the last 15 years. The original owners left the car with a clear title for him to get rid of. Since he really needed his garage space..he asked me to sell it for him--so here we are. That is the extent of the history I have on this car. Basically what I've done so far is give it a quick wash(it was 38* out when I washed it) to get the dust off and put better tires and battery on it so I could drive it to a storage facility in Coal City,IL. It was only a two mile drive to the storage lot but the car had good power and the trans shifted very smooth. The brakes were feeling rough...rusty rotors I would guess. It does start and run fine which is amazing to me after sitting so long! Be aware though....the gas gauge reads full and you can smell that the gas is OLD when it's running...smells like turpentine..it would probly be best to drain the tank and put fresh gas in. I tried the radio and it just scans for a station....might be the antenna. The windshield wipers weren't working until I jiggled the wiper motor wire connector. The blower does not turn on...I have a feeling it's the same as the wipers...just a bad connection/tarnished etc. The drivers window is not in it....I believe it got smashed while sitting in the garage. All the other glass is in good shape. I believe all the windows go up and down also. The interior seems in pretty nice shape for the year. The body does have some rust on it here and there. This would be a great car for parts or restoration. I took alot of pictures and posted a video on Youtube of it running as I am not an old car guy at all. In some of the pictures you can see a puddle coming from under the car....that is from some HOT water I had to use on the windshield to get off a big tow sticker placed in the middle of the windshield. The local police are not very tolerant of old expired tag cars sitting in front of the house.
