You're looking at a 2000 Lotus Esprit that is been professionally modified by professional mechanics.Money was no object to me,in another words best products in the market that I could find.I modified cars all my life.I never looked for a short cut,always whats gonna make the car better,more powerful and liability, which is the most important.I did have a few people inquire, I even have an inspection by the Lotus Dealer,that was made top to bottom,that actually a gentleman paid for it cause he was very interested into buying it,we agree on the price,the inspection went the way he wanna hear,but he told me after the inspection that he only afford 35.I don't understand still today why he paid for the inspection when we agreed on the price before the inspection, but anyways good for me that now I have more proofs that the car is good.As soon as my scanner works a copy of this inspection will be attached here,in the meantime whoever of you are interested I can fax it. I will list all the modifications that was done to the car: -Bosch fuel injectors(germans,the best),runs smooth,plenty of fuel,tested by my mechanic,so it does not runs lean -central exhaust was updated to 2002 model -turbos upgraded from GT25 to GT28 RS,those turbos are capable to run a 20 PSI or more,I'm running 14 1/2 which is safe because I don;t have forged pistons.I have people inquiring about that.I have a family member that won a 2004,he runs 20 to 21 and the car runs perfect,to be honest with you I'm scared to drive that ,I don't wanna look for trouble. -intercoolers were installed,not just any intercoolers, those with liquid, and an extra radiator,was not cheap,was $6000 by the time it was installed,lots of labor. -Chip by Johan,been on the car for 7 years,never a problem. -new timing belt,about 6000 miles ago -new water pump,about 6000 miles ago -new tires -new break pads -round tale lights was upgraded to 2002 model -transmission upgraded from GTO which is a company in England,single sheft with first gear straight cut,second gear longer and stronger.limited slip was installed and custom clutch that can handle 600 Wheels HP.This upgrade cost me nearly $10,000,not counting the headache to find this company and if it was any good,which it is.This transmission kit its been tested on a 700 HP Esprit,that is pretty much the downside on the Esprit which on this car was corrected,again it wasn't cheap but was corrected.
