Vehicle Detail

We have a fantastic 1950 Ariel Square Four restoration project up for no reserve auction. This is an abandoned restoration project. We received this in boxes. Inside the boxes, the parts were wrapped up in newspaper from 1981. The condition of these parts is the same now, as it was when we unboxed it. Someone had previously had the wheels done, painted the frame and chassis parts, cad plated a box of hardware, and had the wheels chromed and laced. The usual reason for finding a Square Four abandoned in boxes is a gaping hole in the engine cases. However, that is not the story on this bike. There are no holes or cracks in the cases, and only one slightly bent fin on the cylinder. This is an excellent restoration candidate that is about 85% complete. This bike will sell with all the parts pictured here, please study the photos carefully. All tabs and mounts on the frame are present and unmolested. The gas tank has a couple of small dents, but is in overall good shape to be stripped and refinished. This motorcycle does not have a title, please check with you local customs office before bidding. We will box this bike up and ship it to most countries, please check our shipping exclusion list. International shipment will require a crate made of treated wood that is certified for customs clearance. The crate will cost approx $350 to have built. Please check with a customs broker near you for shipping quotes, they can usually expedite the process and get better pricing than we can stateside. IF shipping domestically we will box up the loose parts and strap the bike and boxes to a pallet. We will then ship that pallet with cheapest carrier we can find through freight quote dot com. The pallet(s) will cost $65 to build. We have a loading dock available for pick up. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and packing costs. $500 deposit required 48 hours after auction end, full payment required within two weeks of auction end.
