Vehicle Detail

1969 Roadrunner coupe! A great project to start Spring! I am a Mopar hobbiest and bought this Roadrunner coupe in Texas in 2005 as a candidate for restoration. Had it shipped to Pa. Since I have a 69 GTX, just do not have the time as I thought to undertake another project. I like someone else to have that opportunity. Roadrunner came with original signed off Texas title. It is has a fender tag but no build sheet. Original color was Spanish Gold, currently in yellow primer. It is an original AC car, which I am told will increase the value 10% according to NADA. Dash is complete. Optional sill plate trim in great shape! I have researched owners of the car back to 1979. Car is in fair condition, with good points and bad points-- but a lot of potential and value when completed. The engine is not numbers matched. It is has a 1972 383 from a Texas State Police Cruiser auction I was told from one of the old owners. It is non-running. Not sure if the torque flight transmission is numbers matched. Radiator is # 29490491 in good shape. I have a totally complete 69 383 engine and numbers matching trans from a 69 Charger which can be negotiated seperately. A lot of rust issues but restorable. Doors / hood / trunk / windows open freely. Interior complete, good glass, good trim, full dash with wood grain wheel, bench seats restorable, no carpet. Garage ceiling debris on car not rust. The photsos of the engine & trans serial number block is from the 69 383 Charger engine I described. Any questions call Dave directly at 267-718-4333 . Thanks for looking & good luck :)On Apr-01-11 at 08:32:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Information 4-1-11: I went underneath to check out the current condition of frame etc. Everything looks pretty good crawling around. Since this was a Texas car I new the body would be in good shape compared to project cars up here in Pa. That is why I bought it in the first place! Here are my findings since I received a lot of questions: Rocker panels solid, all floor boards solid, main frame rails members are solid, cross frame supports, solid with minor pin holes, inner wheel wells front & back solid, trunk area support / floor area inside the trunk & underneath solid. Original dual exhaust rusty and back holding clamps rusty. Back bumper bracket rotted connecting to the back frame rail. Back window pillars OK ( this area is notorious for rusting through!) Front clip all Ok. Basically overall OK. A lot of surface rust. Definetely could be a daily driver ! That was my intension quite frankly. it is sand blasted i am sure there will be minor issues here and there. So men, there you go. I appreciate the bids and interest!
