FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PHOENIX ARIZONA TRUCK WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RUST AND I WILL PROVIDE THE WINNING BIDDER THE ORIGINAL MILITARY PAPERWORK TO PROVE IT !!! 1985 M1008 (Chevy K30) CUCV MILITARY PICKUP TRUCK - 1 1/4 Ton Diesel with an amazing 35,296 Original Miles. The M1008 CUCV is Heavy Duty ... Front (Dana 60) and Rear (14 bolt) Locking Rear Axle with 4.56 Gears, 6.2 Liter V8 Diesel Engine, TH400 Automatic Transmission, NP208 Transfer Case and its all rated at 1 1/4 Ton. This is one of the cleanest, lowest mileage, rust free examples that I have ever seen and it runs amazing !! The engine and frame of this truck are so clean you can eat off of them (top and bottom) just look at the pictures ... look at the underneath of this truck. This vehicle has been completely gone through mechanically and I would not hesitate for a second to jump in it and drive it cross country. In the military configuration only the starter was 24 volts, so a new 12 volt starter has been installed along with 2 new batteries and the truck is now set up for 12 volts. If you're looking for one of the most rugged go anywhere 4x4's ever made then this is it. This would make a great hunting vehicle with the Canvas Cover over the pickup bed. Keep in mind you can roll up all the sides of the Canvas top or any individual side and it has ties with clips to hold it up. The Bows that hold the canvas in place can be folded down and forward out of the way very easily as well. I just left them up for the pictures so you could see the condition of the frames. I also left all the original military identification numbers and markings on the vehicle for authenticity they wer NOT painted over. For being over 25 years old this vehicle was amazingly well kept as you can probably see from the pictures.
