1967 HONDA S65 SPORTS BIKE Vin# S65- AO39458/ Clean original Title w/ Owners Manual ! " LOW RESERVE " This bike was running perect just as it did the day it was bought before being stored away in a basement for many years & pretty much forgotton about after she out grew it ! Still has all the original parts on including the dent free muffler & Gas tank . No dents or cracks on the frame or any of the plastic parts including the plastic Front fender, Side covers,Tailight lens,Headlight & etc.) ..There is pitting on some of the chrome including the rims / (1) of the tank emblems is broken at the top / Both original tires leaks & will need replaced (dry rotted) from sitting so long. It also lost its spark since being parked ... Not too bad for sitting 15-20 years.. The motors compression is perfect & the Transmission & clutch works perfect as well ! I did have a new set of point installed yesturday but its still missing the spark so this morning I decided to clean it up & just as it is before the weekend ends ,,, I did have the points cover & chain guard painted yesturday while off the bike .. It a new owner who will take care of it & keep it out of a basement,, This bike has alot of potential !! I notice after reading the original manual that these were a pretty rare bike honda built. - The S65 bikes have a 63cc motor w/ 4 speed manual shift that runs a fast 56 mph ! Its also much bigger and faster then the CT70 /Z50 type bikes honda came out with later on ! These S65 hondas has many of the larger honda bike features such as the bottom link on the front end & the two stage stage spring system on the swingarm which gives these a much softer cushion ride . I listed several photos of this 45 year old bike and did my very best to explained any & all flaws to the best of my knowledge .. The chrome ring on the SPEEDOMETER is in very good shape , nice chrome & no pitting. The chrome plate on the right side of TANK is in great shape w/no pitting. T he cables & wires looks to be in in very good shape w/ no cracks but has a little discoloring on a couple . If these parts have any type of pits then they are very small & few ,,,,,,,,While listing the several photos & trying to show any flaws I left out many of the good aspects of the bike..
