Vehicle Detail

Something showed up and I am tempted to get it. However few toys have to go in order to keep my budget stable (and her quiet) :). I don't know where to start with the price, but it is obvious that any KBB will not give me the answer as well as the amount of money on the receipts from building that car. However the real world market will do. Hence please let me get your input here. Built Subaru Impreza gc8 STI RA Cusco with roll cage. The car has made 18k miles after full rebuild. Car was built for the rally cross/ice race events. Car is registered, inspected (4 months ago) and fully roadworthy, however I don’t recommend use this car as a daily, even though it was my daily with a roll cage for quite some time after I sold my both STI’s. It started as a 96 Brighton with cranks windows. The car was stripped down to the bare metal and painted black inside and in engine bay. The custom roll cage was installed to give the car stiffness. Exterior was painted WRB. The main goal was to keep the car as light as possible. Next steps: Wires/Harness/Tune: 2004 WRX harness were installed in order to pass OBD2. Everything is hooked up by COBB, which allows to follow all parameters. Car was tuned in current setup by Dave Brown in Long Island at MSPT. Everything is proved. No CEL’s, no problems. Car was tuned for rally cross, however it pulls 21psi giving around 300whp. Engine: (18k miles) Closed deck STI ver.2 shortblock with new STI rods, forged pistons and new STI crank. 18k miles on the setup, no leaks, no problems etc. Original 2004 WRX heads freshly rebuilt during the engine built. STI Intake MRT fuel rails Pink STI injectors Turbo VF34 Injen SR intake Samco all cooling hoses Grimm Speed boost controller Suspension: New pink STI struts with stock springs Perrin end links Stock swaybars Transmission/drivetrain: Rallispec NJ 5 speed transmission with RA gears, 5th longer for highway (all in receipts) CUSCO front LSD (all in receipts) Stock WRX center and rear viscous LSD’s with stock new WRX rear diff Short shifter with Kartboy BRAND NEW ACT stage 1 clutch and flywheel (all in receipts) Exterior: ’96 2 door brighton fully rebuild (stripped/painted WRB/custom caged). No rust whatsoever. All glass original Front RS bumper painted WRB Morette headlights Jdm grill New team illuminata skid plate/rear deaf cover Battery relocated to the trunk by TAYLOR relocation kit. The main switch is within driver reach. Exhaust: After playing back and forth it is a Grimm speed (?spelling) down pipe, Grimm speed muffler, and midpipe with long resonator. Car is quiet when easy driven on the street. Interior: Custom roll cage: please check pictures Sparco naxos steering wheel with sparco hub Horn button in the dash WRX dashboard with WRX cluster WRX center console Prodrive shifter knob Car comes with stck RS seats. They allow to access the space at the rear when extra set of wheels has to be taken. G-force 5 points seat belts. Crank windows 2000RS door panels with cuts for cranks 2000RS rear panels (for half of the winter it was daily driver, so I installed the carpet and that funny wall to the trunk space, but it can be easily removed) Fire extinguisher Wheels: The car comes with 3 sets of wheels: 16” - 215/50/16 Winter Brigdestone Blizzaks WS60 on gold gs8 sti wheels (pictured) 15” - Gravel Michelins on white legacy wheels which cover installed set of brakes 17” - Prodrive Prodrive Speedline P7 with some 215/45/17 Miscellaneous: No A/C, however firewall was prepared for AC lines. The heat blower box was transplanted from WRX, everything works. Some of the air ducts under dash were customized to work with the roll cage bars. The bad: Car needs a windshield, the current one is cracked pretty bad, even though it started with a very little point made by stone, now it will need to be replaced. $165. It can be driven but lately I was stopped by state trooper in upstate new york and promised him to take care of. The car has two problems in aesthetical manner: One guy with the neon liked my car to the point to hit my driver door. I was not bad at all, however the door and a small part of the fender were pushed in. I replaced the door with original 2000RS door, the fender was pulled back and sprayed. Looks normal, but you can see there was damage. Second problem is that I used the car on few rallycrosses, and ice races, so there are few chips here and there. The front fender liners are there, but right one may need some alignment or replacing (I have one extra as well). Like stated before, it was built for dirt. The windows in the car were tinted by me - sides came out pretty, but the rear glass, because of the shape, looks ugly with lot of air bubbles. Car has OBD2 port and it’s tuned on COBB. It can be inspected everywhere. I will give you a receipt for the work performed during the swap, which I was asked for when went for inspection. It is obvious that there is much more money in this car than I am asking. So please make sure you take it under consideration before sending me an offer. VIN: JF1GM455XTG411048 Location: Car is located in Watchung, NJ, however I am not. I moved out last month and left the car in my former house. I will come to NJ to make a transaction, but I need to know that you are serious enough for me to make a 10hrs trip. Good luck after you read all that :)On Mar-31-11 at 11:30:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I am in NJ from today till Sarturday. Let me know if you waould like to look at the car. My phone no. is 973 647 seven six one four. You can text me anytime. Mike
