For Sale is a rare 1991 Mercedes-Benz 350SD Turbo Diesel sedan. Finished in "Midnight Blue" (mb code 904) with a Dark Java leather interior. Only 139,000 original miles (very low for a diesel). This car is in fantastic original condition. Paint is 100% as it left the factory and it still looks great. Garage kept every night. Registered with Mercedes Benz Club of America. Every single part of this car works as it did when it left the factory. Engine starts immediately regardless of outside temperature. The four speed automatic transmission shifts smooth and confident. All 4 power windows work perfectly. Sunroof works great. Cruise Control engages properly. Original factory Becker radio and all original speakers work as they should. Power telescoping antenna raises and lowers on demand when the radio is powered on. Air Conditioning is freezing cold. There is absolutely no rust or corrosion at all anywhere on this car. Brakes are like new. Matching set of Michelin tires have plenty of tread on them. This car features the rarely seen special order option for Hydraulic suspension. If you take note of the engine bay photo you will see the fluid reservoir directly behind the drivers side headlight assembly. The 350SD and 350SDL were only produced from 1990-1991 and in the eyes of many they are seen as the best diesel passenger cars ever built. They were produced in extremely limited quantities. Less than 2,000 cars were produced in this desirable short wheelbase variation. The "L" in SDL stands for long wheel base - and unless you are being chauffeured around it is completely unnecessary, and as an added hassle the long wheel base cars are difficult to park. All records back to new are available. There is a photo towards the end of the gallery section of the original PA title from 1991 when the car was brand new. All 6 original keys will be included.
