If you are looking for the most desirable Chevrolet Tahoe Z56 Police Pursuit Package out there, here it is... Prior to telling you all of the details, I would like to point out that this Z56 Tahoe has probably the lowest engine idle hours on it of any that I have EVER seen...there are only 297.3 actual engine idle hours on this vehicle! Compare that to most you will find that have as many as 7,500 hours or more!!! It is quite obvious that this Tahoe did not spend 365 days a year sitting in the median on the interstate. You are viewing a very nice, loaded 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z56 Police Pursuit Vehicle that was used as a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement supervisor's unit...it was not a regular patrol vehicle, and has never seen police patrol use. The actual mileage at time of listing is just 125,096. Recently out of service from a state police agency, this is a low-mileage and extremely nice example of a hard to find vehicle that is in very nice shape. In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had very few Z56 Tahoes that have come close to the condition of this one. Most were used as regular patrol units, or worse yet, canine units. This one has been well maintained, is loaded with options and is in better shape than most you will find. The front cloth bucket seats have been covered since new, and I chose not to remove the covers...I will let the owner decide wether to remove them or keep them installed. The seats should be in absolutely as-new condition underneath, as they have been covered since before being placed into service. The finish is the factory medium blue color and it has nice gray interior that looks excellent, including cruise control, rare cloth front power seating, vinyl rear bench seat, full-factory rubber flooring and factory AM/FM stereo. This unit has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been smoked in or otherwise abused. There are no holes or tears in the bumper covers and it never had a push bumper installed. Tahoes like this one are hard to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a good one. This vehicle is also equipped with keyless entry (with remote) and includes four factory keys. I have driven this unit personally and it is very nice inside and out. It is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). Everything works properly, the front and rear dual-zone air-conditioning is ice-cold, and it is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. It is equipped with cruise control, power drivers seat, power windows, power locks, air-conditioning, GM factory AM/FM stereo, tilt wheel, power rear hatch release and, of course, the full "Z56" police package which includes the 5.3-liter Vortec 285-horsepower V8 engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, 3.73 rear axle ratio with "G80" Posi-Traction limited-slip differential, factory engine oil, transmission oil and power steering coolers, factory optional dual batteries, severe-duty 160-amp alternator, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, 255-70-16 police-spec, ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 16" x 6.5" vented police wheels with full wheel covers, stainless-steel exhaust, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, police suspension, factory dome lamp override (blackout or "surveillance mode") switch, 6-way power driver's seat, police certified speedometer, tachometer, remote keyless entry, overhead console with rear heat and A/C controls, front and side impact airbags and much more. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has very little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. It is in excellent condition, but I will list the deficiencies normally found on most police vehicles. The deficiencies on these cars is limited to what you would expect on any vehicle of comparable age and mileage, this includes holes from equipment being mounted, scratches, chips, nicks and dings...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects, runs and drives excellent, and looks very nice. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. This is one of the best Tahoe police vehicles we have seen. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP. 2005 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. This 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z56 Police vehicle will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $40, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $125 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently.
