You are viewing a beautiful, always unmarked, very low-mileage, loaded 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Recently out of service from a small, wealthy, midwestern town with only 66,449 actual, documented miles on it...this is a nice example of a very rare, hard to find car in a very rare and very desirable color. Let me start by saying, in all of my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have not seen another single car that was ordered with this many options. Aside from being a Police Interceptor with the Street Appearance Package, this car was also ordered with a factory spotlight (very rare on a Street Appearance Package car) and a factory 3.55 Traction Lock axle! These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car. I have the factory window sticker which documents the entire car and it's options, along with all of the factory manuals and a literal stack of maintenance receipts since day one. This car was factory ordered brand-new by the Chief of Police and this was the last car that he would drive prior to his retirement last fall. He ordered this car from the local Ford dealership and spec'd the car with just about every possible option he could. This car has had one scrape on the front bumper cover repainted (from bumping into another vehicle), and that is it...it has never been severely damaged or in any major accident. In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of this unit, it was well maintained and needed no repairs. This was a one-driver car, assigned to the Chief of Police throughout the entire life of the car. He ordered it new himself, and drove it until his retirement. For those of you who know, that makes all of the difference in the world when it comes to how the cars are maintained and treated. This is one of the nicest, and probably the most rare car I have had the pleasure of offering for sale. It is finished in Light Ice Blue Clearcoat Metallic with Dark Charcoal interior including; cloth front bucket and cloth rear seats, full factory carpeting and factory AM/FM/Cassette stereo. This car has only 66,449 actual, original miles on it. It has been extremely well-maintained and it shows. It has never been abused and it looks beautiful. The body is straight, clean and the paint is very nice. Crown Victorias like this one are becoming increasingly harder to find, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for a really nice one in a VERY rare and desirable color combination. This unit is very nice inside and out and is clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you will know that 2004 and newer are the years to have...they are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake system. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. These are the Crown Victorias afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. This is a factory, all Light Ice Blue Metallic Metallic car, not a re-painted color change like you will see for sale elsewhere. It is equipped with; power driver's seat, cruise control, cloth seating front and rear, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, air-conditioning, Ford factory AM/FM stereo, tilt wheel, power trunk release and, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter H.O. engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, special-order 3.55 "Traction Lock" limited-slip rear axle, noise suppression bond straps, driver's side spot lamp (new style Unity), lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, 16" Good Year Eagle RS-A Plus police-spec, ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 16" vented police wheels with full, factory chrome wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, 4-wheel disc brakes, suspension, stab-proof seats with power lumber support, certified 140-mph speedometer, working Unity 6" spotlight and much more. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; holes in the interior panels from equipment being mounted, holes in the roof or decklid from antennas (we make sure they are plugged correctly on all vehicles sold), scratches, chips, nicks, dings (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc.)...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. This is a very nice driving, tight car...not a beat-up city car. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2005 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION, IF AT ALL, AT NO RESERVE. This 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $40, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $125 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently.
