Up for bidding with no reserve is this one owner 1999 Super Isuzu Trooper, push button 4WD S model. Approximately 176,000 miles. This was non-smoker family car and never taken off roading. Very clean for its age. Factory six speaker AM/FM stereo cassette stereo with aftermarket Sony 6 disc CD player. I replaced 4 of the factory speakers to compliment the two factory tweeters Sounds good and loud. AC/Heat system works great. Cold AC! The rear passenger and cargo windows were custom tinted when I bought it new. Battery replaced in last year. The interior is in good shape, but needs cleaning. The only problem with the upholstery is that the passenger seat has some stitching that has come loose. (See photos) The carpet is in good condition and needs cleaning. All the original cargo nets, rubber cargo mat, and floor mats are intact. The rear seat cup holder mounted on the back of the center console is broken, but I have all the parts and it probably could be repaired. I also have the original Owner/Warranty manuals as well as the new purchase Bill of Sale from the dealer when I bought it new in 1999. Car has been garage parked for most its life. Absolutely no rust anywhere. There are scratches and dings, but no major exterior dents or problems. In 2004, I was rear ended by a pickup truck which pushed the spare tire into the rear cargo door. The rear cargo door was replaced as was the bumper cover and the repair shop did a frame analysis to confirm that there was no frame damage. I have all that paperwork. That’s the only collision its ever been in. Isuzu mounts the windows to the power motor system through a set of plastic clips. They break over time and the front driver and passenger door windows have been replaced so the clips are in good shape. All the power windows work. Mechanically the car is in good shape with the following exceptions: The tires are worn and probably need to be replaced. The brakes also are probably due to be replaced. The transmission has been slipping for about two months. The dash warning lights are lit up like a Christmas tree and my wife has had enough of it. It is not drivable for long distances. I wanted to repair the trans, she wanted a new car. Guess who won. I got a quote from a local repair shop of approximately $1,300 to pull the tranny and replace any worn parts. They told me the tranny was still freely moving inside, but they have to pull it and pop it open to know what needs to be replaced. I had the radiator flushed and replaced all the hoses in 2007. Sometime between 2004 and 2007 I replaced the factory shocks with a better quality truck shocks. The motor runs strong; however, it does burn oil as would be expected for the mileage it has. I have quite a bit of the maintenance records. This SUV also has an aftermarket 2” tow receiver. This has been a great truck in the 12 years that I have owned it and it just seems like too nice of a vehicle to put out to pasture. It would be a great camping/outdoor vehicle for weekends, or for a hunting truck or teenager’s first car for someone who wants to fix the trans. I certainly got my money’s worth out the old gal, which is why I’m selling it with no reserve. If you’re looking for a good clean used SUV with a known history to fix up, this is it.
