Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevelle Malibu rolling chassis project car Summary Up for auction is my 70 Chevelle which originally was an AC, power steering, bucket seat, floor shift automatic, small block V8 Malibu. It currently is a rolling chassis (no engine or transmission) in need of full restoration however would make a great low initial investment SS clone project. I will go into more detail about this car below, but please keep in mind that I am NOT a body man or mechanic by profession and I have attempted to list the condition of the car to the best of my abilities. Also note that this car needs RESTORATION and is NOT a $10,000 car that you can paint, install an engine and head off to the car show. The car has a clear Missouri title. The four pictures attached are all I currently have as the car is in storage. Selling it as I have had a change in my family and need to find this car a new home. Please email me with any additional questions. The car is currently located in O Fallon, MO 63366. DetailExterior and body condition - Will need both rear quarters; left quarter has minor accident damage below the belt line and the right quarter has the typical rust around the wheel opening. - Will need a driver's side floor board - Has a few spots in the trunk that you could patch but seeing as how cheap trunk pans are, I would recommend replacing the whole thing when the quarters are off. - rear window area is issue free as it was protected by sealer tape when the car was parked 20 years ago by the previous owner - A pillars show surface rust and there is a 1/2 dollar size rust spot that is right above the passenger side A pillar - All exterior chrome trim is still there except for the windshield and rear window molding - Front grille area is bent inwards - Areas behind front wheels on both front fenders have rust - All glass is there Interior - Missing front buckets and front lap belts - Missing horseshoe floor auto shifter and console - floor shifter mechanism still bolted to the car - Sweep speedo dash still in place - Steering column still intact with what appears to be a Pontiac steering wheel - Rear seat and seat belts still there along with front shoulder belts - Black door panels are complete with arm rest and window cranks - Car comes with extra SS / Monte Carlo round gauge dash with 3 standard gauges and warning light pods. Comes with wiring harness Under hood and drive train - Inner fenders still bolted in place - Power steering rack with steering box still in place - AC box still on firewall - Wiper motor still on firewall - Auto transmission brace still bolted to car - Drive shaft is there bolted to a 10 bolt rear end (gear ratio unknown) - exhaust system still bolted up - No engine, no transmission, no accessory drive, no radiator Payment details (MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 1. I do NOT accept Paypal due to their inadequate protection for sellers. Sorry for this inconvenience. 2. Acceptable forms of Payment are Postal Money order or Bank money order. Please note that all money orders will be verified by the lending institution prior to this car leaving my possession. 3. Upon close of auction a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit in money order form must be mailed by the buyer within 48 hours of auction end. 4. Remainder of funds due must be mailed within 7 business days of close of auction unless buyer and seller arrange for the buyer to pay the remainder in person with cash if they decide to pick up the car prior before the end of this 7 day time frame. 5. If vehicle is paid in full before being picked up by the buyer, the seller will send the title via FedEx mailer to the buyer. I am very flexible with holding the car for a reasonable amount of time as the buyer arranges for pick up or shipping, however payment must be made in full as stipulated above. 6. I have sold many cars and other items on eBay using the traditional non-electronic method of payment, please reference my feedback score which shows 100% positive feedback since 1999.
