Up for your consideration is a rare, classic 1979 BMW 320i. I bought the car this past summer with full intentions of restoration but life has changed. The car is a NC car. It was put up on blocks in 1990. Mileage is 132,255. The original owner, at that time, purchased everything from new tires to all new (in the package) brake parts including new drums, pads etc. The brakes were removed but everything to put this car back together is in the trunk. New plugs, air filters (3), oil filters (2), windshield wipers etc. Nothing was ever installed so it has just been sitting in the trunk in the barn for 21 years. No engine parts as I can't see that the engine has ever been touched. The body is very, very straight. Just a tiny bit of surface rust behind the right tail light. Your can see in the picture. The engine cylinders were filled with oil when stored. BMW'S sit up very well. This car will have to be trailered but I am sure that everything on it is fine. Why would the older gentleman that owned it spend a ton of $ on all of the new parts, put a brand new set of tires on it (0 miles), if something was wrong with the 4 speed trany or engine? NE of Spaghetti Junction in Atlanta or 1.5 hrs S. of Greenville. NOTE NOTE NOTE: There is no title to the car. In Ga. if a car is over 30 years old a title is not required. I talked to our local tag office and it can be "registered in Ga." if you provide a bill of sale, which I have and proof of insurance. I do have some paperwork from the original owner and will give you a notarized bill of sale but there is NOT A TITLE.
