You are bidding on a Beautiful 1986 Mercedes 560SL with Books, Records, Original Window Sticker, Original Build Plate, and an almost new set of Michelin MXV4's!! This is an investment quality SL and we are offering it to the eBay community with NO RESERVE!!! The factory maintenance log has been stamped up to 97500 miles!! Get in on the bidding before you miss out on this amazing 560!! Mechanically this SL is in outstanding condition. The 5.6L powerplant starts right up, idles smoothly, and has tons of power!! The transmission shifts effortlessly through all the gears and the suspension is nice and tight. The A/C blows cold and the heater works great as well. Even the clock works on this car and the power antenna goes up and down. The power windows go up and down without any issue as well. The 4 Wheel Disc Brakes have plenty of pad life remaining and the Michelins are almost new!! We would feel comfortable driving this SL to California and back!! Keep that in mind while bidding on this car. It has been serviced properly and it is obvious that the previous owner pampered this car!!! Cosmetically this SL is a real head turner. The Champagne Metallic Paint has a deep luxurious shine and the body is laser straight. The chrome has a brilliant shine and does not have any rust or pitting!! The soft top is in excellent condition and does not leak. The leather interior is in outstanding condition and this car has not been smoked in. Only minor wear on the bolsters which a leather medic can touch up inexpensively. The original dash looks great and the woodgrain looks beautiful. The carpet has faded in some areas as you will see in the pics. Some carpet dye could remedy this. There is a minor scratch on the passenger side front fender as you can see in the video/pics below and a slight rust spot on the driver side lower panel (you can also see this in the video and pics) Both are very minor and easy to repair. The floorboards and undercarriage do not have rust issues as you will see in the pics. This SL does not require much TLC at all in order to make it look like a 10!!!
