Up for auction is a nice 2001 Chevy Impala former police car, that is currently PA State Inspected thru 5-11, with a clean PA title. Key Fob from Maryland Natural Resources Police, so I'm assuming that's where it came from. Since last year the car has had these new parts installed: 4 New Goodyear Eagle RSA 225-60-R16 tires, battery, alternator, 4 correct for Police package slotted, drilled brake rotors, high performance brake pads, EGR Valve, Catalytic Convertor, radiator, and both headlight assemblies. The car has the 3800 V6 motor, with the police transmission, and all the other police options. Car has a working spotlight, Motorola Maxtrac radio( wires cut to power) 4 rooftop antennas(the 2 black satalite antennas are NOT included), laptop mount, center console, fire extinguisher, power connections in trunk, and other stuff I'm sure I've forgotten. The AM/FM radio is a Bose..the car came with an upgraded premium sound system. I bought a like new GM premium sound system AM/FM/CD player for this(which is included), but there is some kind of wiring harness adapter that is needed. The negatives: there are 2 chunks cut out of the plastic trim in the rear where the cage was mounted(see pics), there is a tear in the rear of the front seat cover, very minor surface rust on the rear wheel well, crack in paint on the hood(see pics), te driver seat cushion is worn, with th padding compressed(I find the seat very comfortable), whenever you put the car in reverse, the Anti lock brake light comes on, but the brakes work fine, this goes away on restart, and doesn't happen any other time. There is a minor oil/fluid leak somewhere, with very minor spotting on the ground, but I haven't bothered to investigate, since it's small. If you really hit the accelerator hard there's a clunk up front, possibly a motor mount...doesn't happen with normal driving. This car runs very well, and is very fast. I feel confident that it has a great many miles left in it. I am selling ths since I bought a new pick up and the Impala has not been regularly used since January. I will NOT reveal the reserve, but it is lower than what I have invested. NOTE: The 2 black satellite antennas at the windshield line are NOT included! This makes the car much cooler in the summer, and it looks better too! Just check your State's window tint laws, as you may have to remove it.
