This is a one owner car that belonged to my father and he just passed away. It has 134k miles on it. The motor has about 70k on it as in 1992 it went out after having no oil in it and the mazda dealer put in a brand new 13b rotary motor when it had 65k on it. This car is 100% stock and has not been modified or even drove fast ever. The top needs replacing. It has a glass window in the top with defroster. The car has always been garaged all its life so there is not any rust on the car at all. I just had a new clutch plate, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave cylider, trans flush and new fluid and etc last week so the clutch is brand new and was about 900 to fix all that. I would keep the car but I have to pay that bill for the clutch. The passenger side window rolls down but the motor is not good so u have to pull up on it while pressing the switch. It has a mazda factory am fm cass cd and something has come undone as it turns on but there is no sound and the cass and cd work. The ac works flawlessly and ice cold as is the heater very good also. TRhe cruise control works good. The drivers side window is good and the remote side mirrors work good. Everything works good except what was mentioned. The oil has been change every 3k and is nice light brown color. When i had the clutch done they recommended replacing the the linkage in the shifter but it works fine for me and I could not see spending another 150.00 as they got me for every cent they could, but now everything is new and u will get the reciept. The tires are all good. There is one ding on the drivers side front fender where somebody ran into in the graocery store parking lot, other then that the body has no dents. These cars go for about 5k in good shape and all u would need is a 600.00 top to make it really nice. The interior is leather and has the optional headrest speakers system which is controlled in the center console. The car is blue on blue with a blk top.The inside is all really in nice shape. this car was never beat or raced as it was owned by my father since new in dec 1987. It comes with the original small california pink slip. I will post pictures tomorrow but wanted to get it listed tonight. The pipe extensions on the back mufflers have come off, but they are not loud. This is no reserve so it will have a new owner soon! It was always tuned up at mazda and oil changes. It idles great and does not backfire. It has a whaletail spoiler on the back. It has a california smog check and registered thru dec 2011. The car is in ASan diego ca and it has a parade boot to go over the top when down that is blue and it has a custom made car cover that is in the trunk. All of the workings for the top and the inside headliner paret and etc are all really good, it just needs a top. It has not had the top up in many many years so it was not very good when i JUST PUT IT UP. tHE ONLY THING BAD INSIDE IS the passenger door top panel wheere the dogf bit on it a few times and the seats are real nice but the color on the leather has started to fade so you can probably just dye that back on. The car is solid, runs great, brakes and etc all work great, meaning all mechanical. Just write me a note and I will look every few hours online to answer. Sorry for all this writing but I want to describe all the faults so u have no surprises.On Mar-22-11 at 00:45:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had many questions about will the car drive out of state and the answer is I would drive it anywhere as it runs great and the oil and collant have been change. It does not have any mechanical issues and any issues have been addressed in the description. As for the top, it does not blow in or leak. It is still fulyl covered and the inside of the top is immacualte and it has never been out in the rain. It does not burn oil or use any fluids. It would probably to be easier and cheaper with gas prices to ship it, but you should be able po drive it a long distance with no problem. I drove it to our cabin in big bear and back 340 miles round trip last month with no problem. Like I said, the car runs great and it is a real kick in the pants fun car to drive through curves and etc. It has great power and it has never been raced or beat. Anything else just ask as my description is starting to look like a book! LOL
