Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1996 Toyota Corolla sedan. Only 128,800 miles!!! A 15yr old perfect for your 16yr old! - Base model so only thing power is the steering. - A/C has always been ice cold, heat works great in winter - Cassette player - I work in the city and drive out to farms and average 27MPG so it's probably 24/30 city/hwy - It was garaged kept '96-'09 - Oil changed every 3500/4000 - Air filters/spark plugs changed twice in last 3 years - Transmission oil flushed and refilled 9/10 - Timing belt changed in 2007 before I bought it - 2 new 55k tires put on 7/10, 1 new 55k tire 1/10, 1 new 55k tire 7/08 - New battery in 12/09 - Installed new back seat speakers in 2007 when we bought it - PA Inspection through 7/11 - Dual airbags up front - Less than $200 to insure for a year My wife and I are the second owners of the car. I purchased it locally in June 2007 from an estate. The previous owner bought it brand new locally and had it serviced at Firestone regularly and at all suggested checkups. It had around 93k on it when we bought it and it has been an excellent car for us. No accidents (this is what I typed before I listed it and saw there was an accident 11/06 which was before I bought it...they told me there were no accidents...oh well, I'm not sure what it was but it must not have been serious as the car has been great)!! Flaws on outside standard for a 15 year old car. Scratches on back bumper there when we bought it they told us their mother who owned it tried to load her push mower by herself and scratched it up pretty good. There is a dent/rust spot on the driver's door. That happened about 2 years ago we were at walmart on a really windy day and I opened my door only for the wind to take it and it hit the wheel well of the explorer next to us. When we came back out it did the same thing, so 2 hits on the same dent. I never did anything to fix it so the rain has caused a little rust there. We had the tranny flushed in Sept 2010 as it was slipping while in the city for about 3 miles. Then it stopped before I got to my mechanic and has been better ever since. He flushed the tranny, put in new oil, Lucas Trans slip fix, and a new filter kit. It's been perfectly smooth as it was before that day with no further concerns. This is a great little car for a teenager or for a cheap daily driver. I have all receipts of non-oil changes since we've had it. Other than tires and the battery the only things we've had to done is flush the tranny ($169) and change the front 2 axels in 2008 ($578). It's passed inspection every time with flying colors and will fit great in your home. Her name is Dori. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Reason for selling - it's my car strategy, they only go down in value so I look for deals on the paper and on eBay and if I find one I buy it and drive it for several years and then resell it. This is car #5 in the past 5 years. I just bought one last week off of eBay and need to move this one now :)Selling As Is...winning bidder responsible to pay $500 via paypal within 48 hours and make arrangements to pick up the car within 10 days. Remainder of amount paid via cashiers or certified check.
