Vehicle Detail

1974 Honda Trail 90 (CT90K5) You are bidding on a used 1974 Honda Trail 90 that is in very good condition and ready to ride. I purchased this from the original owner in 2003 and have maintained it in top working order. The engine was actually rebored to 100cc by the previous owner and therefore has a little more muscle than the stock CT90. It has a new battery, all the electrical items work, tires are good, auxiliary gas tank is clean and dry (zero rust). It kicks over easy and runs like a champ. It has a clear title. There is minor wear and tear on the bike (i.e., rear turn signal post has been repaired, chrome exhaust cover welded in a spot, and the frame cover has a broken tab on the lower left side). The front fender and chain guard has been repaired and repainted. The seat is original and is in perfect condition. I added the buddy seat, new hand grips, and mirrors. I just added an electronic flasher unit so that the turn signals work flawlessly. This bike does have the dual range transmission which features a lever that switches the standard 4 gears into a real low range for climbing steep trails. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ About the 1974 Honda Trail 90 CT90K5: One color was available: Mars Orange. It was accented with a dark gray metallic plastic shroud. The side covers were also gray. The handlebars had a swivel lock. The exhaust system was black and the heat shield was chrome. The seat was a solo seat with chrome rivets. The chrome luggage rack behind the seat was standard equipment. The turn signal housings were chrome. The fuel tank had no decal, but the down tube reads “HONDA”. An auxiliary fuel tank was mounted on the left side of the rack. The transmission was an 8-speed dual range. The front suspension used telescopic fork tubes. The stock engine was a 89cc OHC single cylinder with an automatic clutch. The serial number began CT90-1500003. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please email me if you have any questions.
