Vehicle Detail
1973 International Travelall 4x4 - Series 1110 -- 'heavy half' ton LOW RESERVE STARTING BID. Please bid to own and ONLY if you plan on following through with the purchase. There is a lot of good info here so please read it all before bidding. Thanks! Rare truck with ALL ORIGINAL & FACTORY: A/C - PS - PB - 392 c.i. - 4 barrel Carter - Automatic 3 speed trans. - PART TIME 4 WHEEL DRIVE with manual locking hubs 2H-4H-4L transfer case - 3.73 ratio differentials front & rear - looks like it has a 4"- 6" lift? (not sure) - new big brakes - SCOUT chrome steel wheels - all the heavy duty stuff. Model 1110 series 'heavy' 1/2 ton chassis. Factory optional I.H. gun rack and chrome roof rack. 5 (FIVE) ea. all NEW TIRES 31x10.5x15 all-terrain. Newer gas shocks. I added all "IH" and 392 stickers for that AMC Rebel Machine 1970's muscle car look. They are easily removed if you don't like them. Everyone who sees them though thinks that they are pretty cool, so do as you wish. DUAL FUEL TANKS approx. 15 gals each (original swith lever under dash). Front tank was removed for flushing and is ready to reinstall. Includes all kinds of aftermarket SPARE PARTS see photos. Aftermarket heavy duty steel rear hitch included. Looks like newer gas shocks installed (unknown brand) still work well. ELECTRIC rear window works great via switch on dash. Front driving lights under bumper are new but not connected (switch & wiring included). Motor runs EXCELLENT and is VERY STRONG. Sounds excellent with dual exhaust. New battery. Original bench seat interior IS EXCELLENT. All door panels, seat material--excellent. All windows work great. Heater works great. Original carpet and rubber floor covering. All window glass good except WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED, all lights - switches, work great. All chrome is decent. All windows function up and down. Doors lock and unlock. Steering is quick ratio and responsive with no play in wheel. Transmission shifts crisply--definitely feels like a quick shift kit was installed at one time as it does NOT feel like your typical '70's slushbox. Yes, there is a heavy duty REESE type rear hitch set up for towing with all wiring ready to go. HERES WHAT THIS TRUCK NEEDS: Reinstall A/C. Reinstall original radio (dash is original and uncut); radio templates and brackets all included. Has typical I.H. rust at all typical areas. Floors, behind all wheel wells, inside spare tire well, and at various spots around cab & windows. PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS CAREFULLY OR JUST ASK QUESTIONS. Truck is originally from Colorado, but I am a So-Cal/AZ boy and I'm not familiar with rust issues. Truck pulls to right when you hit the brakes but quickly straightens out. Brakes are very powerful and will stop this truck on a dime! Various guages under dash don't work (except temp which does). All guages on dash function properly, all lights, etc all work great. I have shown most body damage that I could find and I'm really trying to nit-pick this truck and list all it's faults that I know of because I don't want any unhappy buyers out there. But, at this price it's nice enough to just DRIVE IT THE WAY IT IS and enjoy it. Although there is the typical rust in body; the frame, doors, and structure are all VERY SOLID AND FEEL EXCELLENT. No rattles, a very powerful truck, all transfer cases transmission, wheel hubs work excellent. YOUR DOG AND KIDS WILL LOVE IT! It's a blast to drive. Quite solid and very fast for it's size. Obviously this is no beauty queen, but if you've been looking for a good looking vintage Travelall or Suburban that you can hunt from, and take the family & dogs to the lake in summer and not have to worry about scratching it up, then here you go. If you need or want more info PLEASE CALL ME BEFORE BIDDING. Truck is used and is sold as-is with no warranty offered. Mike @ 623-465-0636 Clear and notorized AZ title in previous owner's name ready to transfer to new owner (you). Bill of sale supplied if so desired. If this is an issue for you then please DO NOT BID. New River is located just 30 miles north of downtown PHOENIX just off the I-17 fwy. Fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and DRIVE IT HOME. THANKS FOR LOOKING GUYS!
