For sale is our 7 month old 2011 Kia Sorento EX V6 AWD. As can be seen from the photos the car is presented in possibly the nicest color combination offered of black with cream leather interior and is complimented beautifully with privacy glass and 18" chrome wheels. We bought the vehicle brand new from a local Kia dealership; it had covered delivery miles only. It has been well cared for and neither of us smoke nor have we allowed others to smoke in the vehicle. The vehicle was the top of the range model loaded with every option available, for example: * fitted with Limited Package and Premium Package 2 * leather seats (both front seats heated & driver's seat is electrically adjustable with electric bolster control) * voice operated touch screen premium Infinity audio system with ten speakers, satellite navigation, bluetooth, sirius satellite radio and reversing camera * 6 speed automatic transmission with manual override (+/- gear selection), hill decent control and manual override of AWD system * steering wheel controls for cruise control, voice operation and audio system * seating for 7; each occupant provided with 3 point seat belts (3rd row seats fold completely flat into trunk floor) * more airbags and cup holders than you could possibly imagine * dual zone climate control with separate fan speed setting for 3rd row seating occupants * dual panoramic moon roofs with shades (front is electric and features one-touch operation tilt and slide) * remote keyless entry has transponder and associated button on exterior door handles allowing lock/unlock when key fob is in close proximity of vehicle. Same is true with ignition, so long as key fob is within vehicle it can be started The vehicle is exceptionally nice to drive. An interior that is unbelievably quiet at any road speed (comparable if not better than our '07 BMW 328i) and very comfortable seats make this car absolutely ideal for long journeys with family or friends and luggage. It's also very good around town because it has an amazing turning circle and great visibility due to all the glass. The reversing camera and reversing sensors make parallel parking much easier than it would normally be. The reversing camera especially takes the worry out of reversing knowing that you can see everything behind you no matter how low down it may be. The audio system continues to blow me away. Just this morning I was setting a destination into the satellite navigation system entirely by voice, it wasn't necessary to spell anything - I said "Front Royal" and that was it. If you learn all the commands (I seem to recall there's in excess of 1,000 in total when you include terrestrial radio, satellite radio, CD, auxillary, telephone and satellite navigation) you can do amazing things like pan and zoom the map. Equally amazing is being able to say the name of any contact in your telephone phonebook - it never fails to find the number and dial it. This makes life so easy when you're driving. We prefer the satellite navigation equipped with this vehicle than our < 1 year old TomTom system and I never thought I'd say that. BMW take note! In July 2010, the sticker price of the vehicle was $34,880. Please note that there is a lien on the vehicle in the form of financing with a local bank arranged through the dealership from where we bought the vehicle. We will pay the difference between the sell price and balance of the loan such that it is transferred to the new owner with a clear title. As such, if you win the auction, please plan to collect the vehicle in the morning so we have time to get to the bank which is only five minutes from where we live but closes at 5pm Monday to Friday and 12pm on Saturdays. The vehicle has the balance of the KIA 10 year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and 5 year / 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. On Mar-20-11 at 05:32:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Warranty Clarification: The first owner receives a 60 month / 60,000 mile limited warranty which, the KIA manual states, covers everything with the exception of "wear and tear maintenance items, or those items excluded elsewhere in the manual. See "Exceptions" and "What is not covered"". The exceptions it breaks out are Air Conditioner Refrigerant Charge (12 mo / unlimited miles), Audio / Entertainment System (36 mo / 36k), Battery (24 mo / unlimited miles), Brake & Clutch Linings (12 mo / 12k), Paint (36 mo / 36k) and Seat Belts in Kansas (10 yrs / unlimited miles). After this period the warranty reduces to powertrain only for an additional 4 years / 40k miles but, as I have just read, this is applicable to the original owner only and does not transfer to the second owner.
