The warm weather is coming,and the bikes are coming out.The gas prices are climing,and expected to hit $4.00 by Memorial Day.Up for auction is my 1981 Honda Goldwing.This bike has everything that you need for riding this summer.It has an AM/FM Disc stereo system with detachable face,and storage case.Stereo is MP3 ready with a USB port,and Bluetooth.Two speakers mounted in the faring that has a good clear sound. This bike has throttle lock for those long rides.Also the seat is very comfortable,and only about 1yr old.The drivers backrest is detachable for easy mount,and dismount for the rider as well.This bike has a locking touring pack,and saddlebags for overnight storage.The tank also has a small storage area for your registration,and bike info.On the faring is a locking storage box,and one that has a snap on leather cover.The previous owner said that he had the front forks completly rebuilt,and had replaced the back air ride shocks.The air ride light does stay on while riding because the compressor was never hooked back up to the new shocks.They can be filled manually if needed.I checked the air after I bought it last year,and it was fine,and rode nice.When I got it out of the storage unit last week I checked the air,and its still the same.The bike was origanally black,but the guy that I bought it from said after he bought it that he wanted it red so he started changing everything over.The fenders,saddle bags,and touring pack are still black everything else is red.The faring is a dark brown,but when you first look at it it looks like a dark red.When he ordered the faring on line it looked red.He also installed alot of chrome on this bike some new,and some used.The tires are very good no dry rot,and alot of tread left.The battery is only about 6 months old.There are alot of lights on this bike as well for safe night time riding as well as deer whistles mounted on the sides of the faring.Also installed is an alarm system with remote start.I disconnected it from the battery because I couldn't figure out how to use it,and when I would come home at night I always set the alarm off.I bought the bike last year,and had plans on re-painting it all the same color,but I have recently acquired some unexpected medical bills so I'm selling my bike to help with these bills.This bike may be old but with all of the extra chrome,and the lights it looks very sharp,and its very clean.The bike is priced right with a low reserve so if you want an inexpensive ride this summer with the rising gas prices this is the bike you need.This bike is sold as is with NO REFUNDS,and or WARRANTIES.A $500.00 down payment is to be paid at the end of the auction with the balance to be paid in full within 3 days of auction end.
