Vehicle Detail
www.timandleslie.com has a bunch of pictures for you to view. This is the Base Coup 270 HP model. Better known as the touring addition. Gather specific data from the pictures. Email me at mitstrick at yahoo dot com or call me at 817 320 7057 or contact me through ebay if you have questions. Tell me what specific pictures you'd like to see and I'll take them and email them directly to you. I am not a car person and deffinately not a vette person so I may not know the answer but my camara works great. pictures can be viewed at www.timandleslie.com This Corvette is a low maintenance everyday driver classic sports car. This is NOT a collector so if you are a Corvette geek don’t bother. Again, this is a everyday driver, a car that you can put 100K miles on with very little to no maintenance outside of what is normal for a new or newer car. This would be perfect for a short comute. This car belonged to my dad who’s no longer with us. My mom did not attend to it so it sat for a couple of years. An exclusive Corvette mechanic (Billy Womack, Waco, TX) talked my mom into doing a full under the hood restoration so that she would not have to bother with maintenance. She had it restored with a new Corvette crate motor (1K miles on new motor). She had every hose, belt and anything else that could wear, age or crack replaced. We have the original motor and it will come with the car along with a motor mount / jack on wheels. The exterior as you can see in the pictures is pristine with only a few very minor blemishes. There has been some minor body work done on this car at some point in its life. The only way we know this is because that it’s been re-painted. The paint job is amazing as you can see in the pics. The “Bird Cage” is in great shape without rust damage. Again, This is an EVERYDAY DRIVER CLASSIC SPORTS CAR! It is very hard to find a car that looks this awesome that also drives awesome. We put it up for sale a few yeas back but I talked my mom into letting me hang on to it for a while. I've had it for a few years and drive it once per week when the weather is good. Current Problems: The T-Tops leak ever so slightly when the car is driven in the rain. One of the tail lights has a bulb that is out. There is some wear on a few parts of the interior as seen in the pictures. The driver’s side power window works when it wants to and sometimes does not work. The carpet got wet at some point and it faded a little, but it is covered by the floor mat. After you've had this car for some time you might swap out the front shocks.
