Vehicle Detail

I'm the third owner of this car and I have owned it for 16 years. This car was used as my daily driver for the first 9 years I had it. It then went through a long restoration process. It still has the original engine and transmission that have both been rebuilt. The transmission is the 200R4 with the factory OZ valve body and a few up grades internaly to make what was a good shifting transmission even better. I've never driven a car with better up shifts. The engine was rebuilt with and returned to original with only a few upgrades. The cast iron intake was replaced the a factory later model aluminum one. A GM performance products cam was installed, this was a very slight increase in lift and duration from the original. I also did some port and polish work on the heads and intake. The odometer was reset after the engine was built and has about 9800 miles on it. The paint and body work were completed in 2006. It was painted by a PPG paint representative during a demonstration of their products at the local college. New striping and weatherstrips were also installed. It has an Alpine CD player, Pioneer front speakers, two 12 inch subwoofer and amplifiers and a crossover to control them. There is a hard wired radar detector and keyless entry with trunk release and alarm system. The door panels have the LED indicator lights for the alarm that can be seen in the photos. The trunck and speaker box have both been covered with Line-X spray-in brand bed liner material to be used as sound deadening that reduces viberation of the trunk from the stereo. The front end bushing and brake system, both front and rear, have been overhauled. Still has the original wheels and 3.73 rear end gears. The air conditioning has been upgraded to 134a refrigerant and the duct work in the dash has been redone and it all works well. The radiator was replace with an larger one that helps to keep the car from overheating during a/c use in the hot summers in Texas. This car does everything it should. Its reliable and fun to drive. I would not be affraid to jump in this car and drive cross contry. I would not be selling this car if I didn't have two kids in college and I am going to be in need of some tuition.
