Selling our 2004 BMW M3 Convertible. Two young kids now and #3 coming in August. NO WAY were getting three car seats in this vert! We bought it last year from the second owner in Springfield, IL. Serviced there at Isringhausen Imports. Car is very nice and clean. Heres some of the details: 1) SMG transmission with paddle shifters. Shifts flawlessly.2) 46,058 miles3) New wheels and tires with less than 500 miles on them. (no curb rash, no spots, like brand new.)4) Fresh alignment when we did wheels and tires 5) New belts6) New STOPTECH high performance pads and rotors on all 4 wheels7) Interior is gray, Exterior is White, Top is black (top is perfect)8) New alternator (this is a very common problem with this year M3, check the forum boards, new alternator has a lifetime warranty)9) Fresh fluids 1000 miles ago and not due for an oil service for another 10,000 miles10) Navigation, heated seats, CD changer, etc. Loaded with all options. Car has been sitting in our storage unit, covered, since October. I was there today and it started right up. It really is a nice car and we hate to see it go, but one day we will have another. In the pictures below is the carfax i printed off before we bought it for your reference. Car looks, drives, and runs great. No issues at all. Fronts are 19x9.5 rears are 19x10.5 if i remember correctly. They are flush with the fender flares and look awesome. Pictures speak a thousand words......On Mar-13-11 at 20:18:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Many folks have asked if there are any flaws in the vehicle. these are what i know and can see:1) the front ashtray insert is missing. lighter is there, but no ashtray. it was this way when we bought it. 2) the passenger arm rest on the door has small spider type crack in an area on the plastic (not the leather trim). will try to get a pic but not sure if it will show up. 3) there is a similar type spider crack on the plastic cover around the shifter. also not sure if it will show up. don't know if these are common to the m3 verts or not. My thought is the previous owner left it in the sun without a protective type armor all and they heated up. these in NO WAY effect any performance, but i'm trying to disclose everything i know. it is surface cracking only, they don't go all the way through the trim piece. All other interior is nice. 4) missing one of the original rear floor mats. have both fronts with the "M" logo. On Mar-14-11 at 14:55:35 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ!!!!!!! I was notified by a dealer interested in the car that he had also run a current carfax on the vehicle and that it is showing 2 separate accidents. You can see from my carfax in this posting that there were NO accidents reported when we bought it back in june of 2010. We also purchased the car believing that no accidents had taken place (based on the carfax!!). the first accident was reported on 07/2004 and the second on 02/2009. I have no knowledge of the first, and the second may be explainable as a tree limb fell on the convertible top and it was totally replaced. This is what we were told by the previous owner and it was not on the carfax at the time we bought it, so i figured it was no big deal. Please retract your bids if you are no longer interested in the vehicle. Ive got 100% positive feedback because we sell very honestly. In no way are we trying to mislead anyone! The car is in great condition. If there was a previous accident I certainly cant see where, but in the spirit of transparency this is what we have found out. Also the autocheck here on ebay lists as no accidents or title issues. The dealer informed me that sometimes it takes months to update a carfax. Im surprised and a little bummed, but the car is still a great vehicle. SORRY for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone interested in the car. Ive also called Carfax to get more information on these "supposed" accidents and if this is an error to have them removed from the report. I really dont see any issues at all with the car and i know my vehicles pretty well. I was literally polishing the carbon out of the exhaust tips the other day! Previous owner told me no accidents as well, but that can always be stretching of the truth.On Mar-16-11 at 08:06:14 PDT, seller added the following information: change to options!!!!! i just went and got the car out of storage and realized it does not have the heated seats. i must have had it confused with another one of our BMW's. if interested i will discount the purchase price to offset this option. say $250. more pics also posted
