If you’re looking for an affordable motorcycle that you literally could ride from coast to coast, then this bike fits you perfectly. Of all the bikes I’ve owned and ridden, this GS is one of my favorites! She can’t be beat for long distance, commuting, and versatility. I’ve ridden this bike from the Blue Ridge to the Dragon…from the Midwest to the Southeast with Iron Butt rides between. The Bike looks and runs great – no smoke and no leaks. I am selling her because I am working on a new project bike. Here are some items of note on this fine 1999 R1100GS: Matching VIN numbers, with clear Indiana title 66,875 miles with factory saddlebags and rear pillion New Metzeler Tourance tires on front and rear (less than 500 miles) New TruGel battery New CTEK trickle charger with connections New brake pads Bike has always seen synthetic oils and currently has fresh Spectro oils Windscreen is by MRA from Twisted Throttle Fuel tank is set up with anodized CPC disconnects Throttle Meister works great New plugs, valve adjustment and throttle body synch in 2010 Heli-Coiled frame at engine guards to strengthen and ease guard and skid plate removal for oil/filter changes (I’ll explain this and other items in detail to the buyer) Basically, the bike has seen normal wear and has a few scratches and nicks from road time but nothing major. The bike is at least 9.5 out of 10! At the close of transaction, I will provide Indiana title, Odometer disclosure statement, and Bill of Sale. I require a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction close and the balance is due within 7 days. I will accept cash or U.S. Bank cashiers check. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. I can deliver the bike up to approximately 300 miles for an additional agreed upon fee. I am not a dealer. I cannot supply license plate, registration, or insurance. Keep in mind: This is the most dependable bike I have ever owned. You could fly in to Indianapolis from anywhere in the United States and ride it home (weather and skill level permitting).
