This is a classic 1968 Pontiac Catalina. This is the year printed on the title, however I suspect that it is a 1969 model first registered in August of 1968. It appears to be in exceptional condition for an unrestored car of this vintage. There is only superficial rust here and there, the worse being on the passenger doors (see pictures), however they are still very solid with nothing even close to being cancerous. The underside is rust free. The floor pan and all panels are as solid as they can be. Doors close like new. It doesn't appear to have ever been in a wreck except for a shallow dent behind the lf front wheel and below the bumper on extreme lf front (again, see pictures). Other than that the body is straight. Both bumpers are completely rust free and with no dents whatsoever. It has a 400 cu in OEM engine which comes complete with newly rebuilt heads. The carburator and intake manifold are in the trunk so it doesn't run. The previous owner was getting it ready for his son to drive when he died. It hasn't run for approximately 2 years. It also has all four OEM hubcaps in good condition. The interior is all there but is sun dried and the seats are cracked and deteriorating. This Pontiac appears to be completely OEM with no aftermarket accessories. Color used to be Cameo Ivory but is worn through in spots to reveal a red oxide undercoating. Has a powerglide transmission.
