You are bidding on a very nice Factory original 389ci 4bbl Pontiac Bonneville 2door Hardtop. It has the very sought after Bonneville factory 4speed Automatic transmission. Everything that came originally with the car is still there and in very nice shape. This is the factory 15:1 compression engine. Not the underpowered 235hp engine. Power brakes, power steering. Interior is not absolutely perfect(refer to pictures) but very nice for a 50yr old car. Original interior. No reproduction parts. The car has a very fresh 2 week old paint job on it. Very minor imperfections, but very nice base coat/clearcoat. Color (1957 Chevy Turquoise) Original wheels and original hubcaps come with the car also. Excellent condition. Engine is a brand new fresh rebuild of the original numbers matching block. It had sat for 4 years after the original owner got sick. It would not turn over very easily, so I made the decision to have it gone through. It will be painted the correct color as expected. It is in the machine shop right now and is scheduled to be finished by next week at the latest. The new owner has the option of me putting it in before delivery, OR , taking the car with the engine not installed for a lesser amount. It is of course the choice of the buyer. The engine will come with all documentation for the machine shop as well as warranty information. I went this route of rebuilding the original engine to keep the car as original as possible. This car has absolutely NO rust. Trunk pan, floorboards, ect are in perfect condition. Engine compartment was painted as well. The only complaint I have about the car is the rear bumper. It has some pits and could use a rechrome. It is perfectly straight though with no dents. All chrome/trim on the car are in excellent condition and is all there of course. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the correct engine code copression ratio for the factory engine of theis car is 10.75:1. I was reading a wrong series of numbers on the machinists spec sheet. Please accept my apologies. This is the highest compression ratio factory for these engines that I am aware. The others on down the line were 10.25:1, 8.6:1, and 7.8:1.
