I'm selling my 1985 Ferrari Testarossa. This car is very clean. Never been abused. The exterior paint looks brand new like it just drove out of the showroom. I purchased the Ferrari last December and took it in for service to GP Enterprises Ferrari Specialists in Redwood City, CA. During my conversation with Geof, the owner of GP Enterprises, made me aware that with a Ferrari Testarossa you need to change the timing belts every 5 years. I did not receive any service records with this car from the seller and decided to do a compression check which came out excellent. I then decided to to a complete motor out service. I did not only change out the timing belts, but also the water pump, the thermostat, the radiators, all hoses, all seals, motor mounts, new clutch. Whatever service you can think of to do on a motor I had done. Total cost of the service: $ 15,000.00. I have all the records for the service. The only thing you need to do on this car is take it in once a year for the next 5 years for a tune-up. I've been driving this car for the last week and it is super fast. I'm 52 years old and I'm not used to getting the attention that I am getting in this car. I also underestimated the power it has. It has always been my dream to own a Testarossa and watching the show Miami Vice it became even a bigger dream. I now realized my dream. So this is the first item I can take off my bucket list and I am selling my car. I have seen many Testarossa's for sale before I purchased this one but I did not find one with a recent complete motor out service done for a decent price. This Ferrari looks like it drove out of the showroom only 25 years later. I'm getting ready for the second item on my bucket list and I need the money. My loss, your gain.
