NO RESERVE 2004 Hyundai Sonata GL NO RESERVE I am selling my 2004 Hyundai Sonata GL!! Car looks and runs great!! It has some typical wear and tear as you would expect from a car of this age, as well as some scattered dents on the hood and roof of the car. The body is in fantastic shape however, with the exception that some paint has peeled off the driver's side door handle (easy and cheap fix if it bugs you). I just had service work done 6 weeks ago at a Hyundai dealer....put in a new battery and radiator. I still have the receipts to give you (over $500)! However, the vehicle does need to have the motor and transmission mounts replaced. This causes the motor to shake more than normal when idling and causes the "Check Engine" and "Air Bag" lights to come on because it is rattling the sensors. This obviously goes away once the car is moving, but getting the mounts replaced is the only way to get those lights to come off the dash. I bought a new car, otherwise I would have fixed the problem myself as motor mounts are pretty cheap. But I am selling it so I decided not to fix it because the car runs great and I am letting the future buyer know of this issue. Everything else on the car is great -- brakes, tires, suspension, frame, etc!!! Car has a CLEAN CARFAX! Car is sold AS-IS. There is no lien on the car and I hold the title in hand. I am just trying to be as honest and transparent as possible so you know exactly the car that you are buying! I have a perfect feedback rating for a reason -- I CAN BE TRUSTED!!! Car has less than 75,000 miles on it. Get a deal here! Below, a friend of mine sent me what this car has sold for in AS-IS condition at the nationwide auto auctions.... keep in mind that 1) only dealers can buy from these auctions, 2) you must pay an auction fee at the end of the auction on top of the price it sells for (usually around $100 - $200), and 3) you have no sense of context or story behind a car when you buy it from the auction.... just a gamble.
