up for sale is a 1979 trans am here is the bad points of the car the paint appears to be original very thin but gm never put much paint on them anyhow driver side quarter has a crease and small amount of rust passenger side behind the wheel spoiler there is some rust both front fenders have rust on the lower part the floor pans and trunk pans are solid still has factory under coating the interior is all original the back seats are perfect the front seats on the bottoms the stichjng has seperated carpet is still good but faded dash has typical crack for these cars now for the GOOD the engine is the 403 i personaly have done a compression check 150 psi on all 8 cylinders fresh tune up new belts all new brakes i put 4 new yearone 8 inch snowflake wheels with new rubber on all 4 corners car runs and drives band stops great mainly needs cosmetic restoration very good canidate ac compressor has been removed also there is some rust on the rear panel behind the rear bumper ive tried to cover everything but im sure ive missed something
