good running, dual range hydramatic. factory twin carburetor, 308 original engine. After market Clifford alloy cylinder head, electric fuel pump. Older paint, (yellow bottom with darker green top), has some bubbling and peel in spots , but body shows no through rust. Interior is redone with beautiful dark green cloth and vinyl seats, door panels and dash. Excellent carpet. Exterior chrome and bumpers have some rust, but complete and solid. Original 6 volt system starts well.Current california registration. This is a very complete automobile that will show well with strip and paint, or used as a driver as is. It is his 7th hudson. I hand washed the car this morning and realized the bumpers and grill etc. are in better condition than I previously believed. Front end chrome, bumper and grille are nearly perfect with no rust. Rear bumper has only minor pits and surface rust; ONLY on the center section around license plate. Buy it now price is $6,000.00 BELOW N.A.D.A. average book price for a 1953 hudson hornet. Buyer will be very happy with this purchase. I will consider delivering this hudson to a buyer within 1,500 miles of California for the price of diesel fuel for my ford 1 ton diesel; if the" buy it now" price is met or exceeded. Thank You
