1998 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 SE Sport. Our van has 171,000 miles on it. I put a Gopher Remanufactured engine in a year ago / 20,000 miles ago. Bought the engine at Napa Auto parts. It has a three year / one million mile factory warranty. The transmission just went out and I don't have the cash to replace it. I paid $2,200 for the engine. When I put the engine in I also replaced the following: water pump, oil pressure switch, spark plugs and wires, thermostat, hoses, radiator, motor and transmission mounts, sensors-O2, crank position, camshaft position, and knock. Belt and tensioner, PCV valve, EGR and coil pack. I think that covers it. Since then I've replaced the driver side rear brake cylinder and shoes on both sides, passenger side rear wheel bearing hub assembly, and front brake pads. I put new tires on in May 2008. I've been using Prolong oil treatment ever since the engine replacement. Windshield has a rock chip and it cracked runing most of its length. The rearview miror recently fell off, I tried to glue it back on but it's tooo cold here. Rust on both lower side doors. So whether a transmission is put in, or this is bought for the motor and harvesting parts, it's still a great deal.
