This is a Gorgeous Classic Bill Blass edition Mark IV. It has some very unique options; It has Sure-Track brakes ( Ford's earliest version of ABS brakes), The interior is a Special Option Blue Majestic Cloth (Available in Mar/76) that looks brand new, There is a power lumbar driver's seat and a reclining passenger seat. These options weren't put on most luxury cars until 20 years later This car exudes LUXURIOUS. It was built to coddle the driver and passengers and look fantastic at the same time. This beauty rides and smells great. It is a non-smoker's car. This has the 460 engine and C6 transmission, Both were rebuilt about 8k miles ago .It has an older repaint. The paint looks good still but it does have a few nicks and dings. There is also some bubbling of paint at the bottom of the vinyl top. It has a tan top and trim. The top needs tlc but it is easily replaceable. It also could also use a new A/C compessor. These minor "characteristics" are all easily repaired but they do not diminish the intrinsic value or the joy of owning and driving this wonderful classic. Things I have done with it: I recently had the original 8-track carefully removed and replaced with a Sony CD player but the old radio comes with it. The ignition coil was replaced with an MSD coil for more power. I had new window motors installed in 2010. I bought a new driver seat controller and can put it in before car is taken. Lube oil and filter change done routinely. I would feel comfortable driving this car coast to coast today. I love the 70s cars because they have solid, long-lasting parts.They are usually affordable so I kept the reserve low to keep this auction true to that spirit.
