Rare and beautiful '38 Buick Limited model 91 6 passenger touring sedan with division glass. Nice original car. Recognized as a Classic by the Classic Car Club of America. Runs and drives very well. Buick Dynaflash straight 8 engine, 320 c.i.d. and 141 HP. Runs smoothly and quietly. 140" wheelbase. Very quick for such a large car. 3 speed manual transmission, floor shift. Dual sidemounts. Working radio but only gets one station. But I do live in the boonies. No rust except for surface rust, mainly in areas where the old lacquer paint has checked and peeled. I had planned on spotting in these areas and having a complete repaint later. The body is straight and without dents. Doors function properly without sagging or binding. The interior is original and worn, worse in some areas than others. I tried to take enough photos to show its condition as best I can. I chose to use it as is. The rubber has deteriorated and needs replacing. The glass appears to be original and is in good condition for its age. The grill, bumpers, door handles, hood ornament and hubcaps have been replated. Tires (Denmans) have good tread but I don't know their age. Good brakes but they require one pump to hold. No mechanic here in the country has been able to adjust them properly. Division window operates by crank, and works smoothly. Only items I am aware to be missing are 2 cigarette lighters and one of the "Limited" logos on the hood vents.
