This vehicle was recently given a partial restoration to be a nice driver. This car has a lot of eye appeal and its ready for daily or weekend cruising! EXTERIOR BODY/ PAINT: The paint and body on this Nova is acceptable for a daily or weekend driver. Done in light metallic gray (not silver), the paint job is single stage with an integrated clear. The paint job appears to have been done professionally and overall it looks good, as you can see in the pictures. It's not perfect, but good looking overall. On a scale of 1-10 the paint and body is probably a 7. The door hinges are in good shape and the hatchback lid holds itself up, which most do not. Glass is good, no cracks. Bumpers were rechromed, the car also has new weatherstripping throughout. INTERIOR: The interior of is clean and it has been redone recently. The front and rear bench seats have been restuffed and recovered and are in great shape. Has the original steering wheel (horn works), foot pedal pads and gauge cluster. The fuel gauge works properly and is accurate. The turn signals work, the lights work and the colum shifter indicator works properly. Windows roll up and down properly and doors open and close easily. Radio does not appear to be hooked up, but is in place. The headliner is new as is the carpet. Engine/Transmission/Differential: Powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8, with less than 300 miles on it since rebuild, the engine features and Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 600cfm carburetor and the following NEW parts: New Summit RV style camshaft New HEI distributor New Hedman headers, into 2 ½”aluminized steel pipes, into a pair of Flowmaster mufflers New high torque mini starter New belts and hoses New Spectre high flow air filter in open element aircleaner 4 month old battery The TH-350 trans was completely rebuilt as well and features a Trans-Go shift kit. Torque converter is stock/ rebuilt. The rear differential is a stock 10-bolt. Should provide years of enjoyment with continued proper care and service! Brakes, Steering, Suspension and Structure: The brakes on the Nova have been recently rebuilt and adjusted, including power brake booster and master cylinder replaced. The steering on the car is tight, like new. The front shocks were recently replaced and it has good air shocks on the rear. The frame on the car and all major components and exterior sheet metal are solid and straight. Rust has been found in the trunk well in the form of two pin holes. The floor pans are solid. This car has not received a major restoration, however it is very nice and should be considered a nice driver as is.
