1978 Chevrolet Pick up ½ ton Long Bed BIG 10 350 V/8 Original miles 58059 Truck is COMPLETELY stock with Original Paint The only things that are not stock, is the steering wheel (from an 84’) the CB and 8 track player, all from 78’ It even has the original radio, that works! I have a new Yukon XL, this truck drives as good as it! Literally, like new! No wind noise rattles or anything! It drives tight, runs and starts up flawlessly, transmission is flawless! This pick up is just like new running and driving! NO I AM NOT KIDDING, AT ALL!! ITS UNREAL! The paint is original, however, it is faded and has scratches around the driver door from closing I presume. It needs to be repainted in my opinion, but it’s a clean truck. People around here just stare at it when I drive it around.. Especially the older guys! The bed looks like it MAY have been used one time! It DOES NOT have a dent in it! Even the tailgate! The passenger door has an area that looks like a dent was popped out, what I would call like a small “wave” in it? I couldn’t get it to show up in any pic, shade or sunlight, sorry. The truck has never been wrecked and has no door dings. I bought this truck from my moms neighbor, he is 68’, his sister gave it to him, and the sister got it from the dad, that bought it new. (so 3 owners, Dad, daughter and then son) This truck was purchased new in Granbury Texas and has always been here locally. It has ZERO rust, none anywhere! It was kept in the garage or under their carport (it was always at the same house regardless) it leaks a couple (meaning 2) drops of oil about the size of a pencil eraser when parked over night. The seat has cosmetic cracks on the driver side but the seat structure and foam are good. Just cosmetic, driver only. Its blue vinyl. I was going to pull of the seat cover, but the strings are all tied underneath and I couldn’t get it off without cutting them. So I left it on. It has the old school air conditioner but doesn’t get cold? All the controls work perfectly, fan for heat/ac blows great and the heater does work. All venting, defrost, floor etc function properly. Windshield has a crack and a few rock chips. I am just trying to be completely honest on the description, the pictures should speak for themselves. As stated. EVERYTHING WORKS on the truck, wipers, horn, gauges, radio it has saddle tanks and they both work! Switching etc.! Has current tags and inspection. I have the clear blue Texas title in hand. Selling for No Reserve, I don’t know the marketability of the truck or its current value. I have seen a few for sale of course, so I will allow the sell to run and let the truck bring what the market allows. I know I don’t have any sellers feedback(really) other than a $25 part and a $900 Harley Frame, but I just sold 3 cars via eBay with very good results, My dad passed away recently and I sold his 2004 dodge pick up, 2010 ford van and his Kubota RTV 1100.
