1979 CJ 7 Jeep that is in great condition. It is set up as a daily driver. This jeep was taken down to bare metal, all rust cut out, and is in great shape. The previous owner rebuilt the motor (less than 500 miles ago). We purchased the jeep and replaced every thing else except the transmission, axles, and rear end. The paint is in great shape but is a factory level job, not show quality. It drives closer to a car than a jeep, with decent return to center, and no bump steer. The following is a non-comprehensive list of new parts: PSC high performance steering box 4 inch rough country suspension lift (professionally installed) 5 new tires and wheels (33" AT on 15" rims) New front and rear warn bumpers New warn spare tire carrier New Bestop interior front and rear seats New Bestop soft top New Bestop center console New Bestop roll bar pad New heavy duty fender wells New clutch New carburetor Shoulder and lap belts professionally installed Bad things about the jeep: I have not replaced the nerf bars yet, they show a little surface rust on the steps. We have changed out the gauges once to get everything back to factory, I still wasnt happy with their reliability, and the jeep is currently having new aftermarket gauges installed. Other than the above the jeep runs great, looks good, and those are the only known issues with it. It has been serviced locally, and driven less than 500 miles since we purchased it and worked on it.
