offering for auction is a rare 1953 Lincoln Cosmipoltan.I purchsed this from a person that owned this car for over 45 years and barn kept. This vehical has a 317 CI V-8 engine with a factory Holley 4- Barrel Carb.that runs well and a rare 4-speed automatic transmission. This car is in very good shape for being 57 years old. the floor boards and the trunk is solid and appers to have no rust holes.The carpet is original whith no holes but needs redyed and all the equipment except the clock still works even all the power windows.The only interior attention is needed on the front seat which has a small tear. This will be an easy restore. the entire car is solid and shows no bodywork except above the rear wheels showes body filler.This car is complete including the original wheel covers and most of the chome is in good shape.This car needs an exhaust system and there appears to be a small oil leak underneath. I have a new gasket kit to go with the car.The car runs sluggish untill warmed up I think the Carb needs a little attention.The engine dose not smoke and holds good oil preasure.
